This local traditional dish is thanks to the abundance of red lobster that roam in the depths, near the coves of the rugged north coast of the island, during the season you see daily lobster divers that come to the restaurant with those fresh lobsters and put them on the restaurant tank awaiting their destiny.
- During summer time the restaurant is almost fully book, so make sure you make a reservation with a week or two in advance.
- The portions are very plentiful, with a lobster stew for 2 it was enough for 4 of us. Ask their advice before you order.
- During your visit you cannot miss a visit to their large lobster tank, it's just next to the restaurant, you will see hundreds of them, awaiting to be selected.
Just once in life, you should go to Fornells, and eat lobster stew at Es Cranc.
